Our little girl turned one today. This year went by so fast with all of the things that went on in our lives – the adoption, Michelle living in Guatemala, the move to Nashville, and the new job.
We had called everyone in Pittsburgh to see who wanted to watch Sabrina on Saturday night and Sunday morning because we wanted to see a movie and have brunch at Lidia’s. How sinful… some time to ourselves. Well, after much deliberating, Aunt Lulu (my sister Krista) and Uncle Pat got her on Saturday night and my parents got her Sunday morning.
The weather was amazing and Sabrina was very happy to be in tolerable weather

We saw the Bourne Ultimatum on Saturday night and then picked the girl up from Krista’s. She was very happy to see us.
Then after brunch on Sunday, we wandered around the strip district, and made a stop at Michelle’s favorite dried flower shop.

Then we headed to my parents where everyone got to hang out and pay attention to the monkey.

Then we had a birthday party for Sabrina and she got her first taste of cake.

Beautiful pictures. I am really enjoying your blog. As a consultant like yourself who has travelled to Nashville, I must concur with most of your observations.
