Well, I made it to Guatemala and Antigua safety and we got to our embassy appointment on time. It was a bit anticlimactic. Two bored bureaucrats lazily stamped some documents and had me sign in three places, took our money and told us to be back on Tuesday.
We’ve spent the last two days wandering around and trying some of the cool local shops and restaurants. I’m so incredibly happy to finally be with my family again. I feel relaxed again – I’ve been so on edge since Michelle left. One of my favorite thing about walking around town with Sabrina is that we get to be the center of attention. She’s so adorable that we’re constantly stared at and approached so that people can coo over the little one.
We’ve also seen some cool places with amazing architecture that I didn’t get a chance to visit the last time I was here.
But, of course, the most amazing sight is seeing how much my wife and daughter have become so attached in their time together.
